eBay alert!
I was looking for some parts for my own bathroom on eBay when I came across this incredible turn of the century bronze shower set. With three hours left, bidding is at a mere $40. I don't have to tell you how hard it is to find something like this or how expensive it would be if sold through a dealer in such things. It's just a bit too old for my house.

Did you find anything appropriate for your home? I ended up buying reproduction pieces for my clawfoot tub. Not at that price. Not even close.
Why S - I haven't found anything yet, but I'm not looking particularly hard. I know that with a lot of these house parts, that it's a matter of either having time or money, and lacking the money, I'm content to spend more time looking. There are enough little parts that I want that I know I can find, eventually, at reasonable prices, if I just keep looking. One by one they'll turn up.
