Looking for good multi-grafted fruit trees

With the removal of the two dead trees in our yard, we have space for two new ones. One will be a weeping cherry. The other will be a fruit tree.

Since we only have space for one tree, a multi-grafted fruit tree sounds particularly appealing. I'm looking for a good source for such a tree. I've found a couple vendors on eBay that offer a couple of trees, but nothing terribly impressive. If you know of a vendor that will ship such a tree, I'd like to hear about it.

We're planning to get ours from Raintree Nursery in Seattle, which ships nationwide and has a pretty solid reputation. One of their specialties is combination grafts---both multiple varieties of the same fruit and different types of fruit on the same stock---and they also sell "combo packs" (sets of several types of fruit trees---useful as planting multiple trees in a single hole is popular alternative to the combo trees around here; each approach has its advocates as far as outcome for small spaces). We currently have a combo pluot that's doing pretty nicely, though one graft does lag behind the other two and needs a little extra help. The one challenge is that it's late in their season at this point, so you may have to wait till fall to plant....

Where I lived before, my local nursery sold those. The benefit of seeing it before you buy it is you can gauge if one or more of the grafts is likely to fail or if they all look healthy.

I don't have any recommendations for you but I have to say that fruit trees are an excellent choice. I've had 3 apple trees in my yard for the past 8 years and love them. Theres so much you can enjoy about them from the flowers in spring to the fruit in fall. Now you're going to have to learn how to bake a pie. ;)

Learn to bake a pie? Why would I even try when A. manages to work wonders with such things?
